author/series of the month: louise rennison/georgia nicolson series

u may wonder what the hell chrimbo means...

it's english [as in great britain] slang for christmas...
i learned it from the georgia nicolson series by louise rennison... u can visit it HERE!
.....the series include....[in order]
"angus, thongs and full-frontal snogging"
"on the bright side, i'm now the girl friend of a sex god"
"knocked out by my nunga-nungas"
"dancing in my nuddy-pants"
"away laughing in a fast camel"

okay, so u might think...."WHAT THE?! WHAT KiND OF TiTLES ARE THOSE?"...well, tell you what, u have to read the book to find out why they are titled that way. most of them are slang, but don't worry, georgia puts a glossary at the end of the book.
at first, i found it intriguing because of the title of the second book: "on the bright side, i'm now the girl friend of a sex god"...i was currently reading the princess diaries series at that time. eh, i wanted to finish the whole series before starting a new book, so i held on...
the one time, we went to rockwell... eh diba may fully-booked dun? [BEWARE: u MIGHT GET LOST.BOOK HATERS RETREAT! nakakahilo dun! it's like a labyrinth!] so we stayed there. eh my mom was meeting a friend, so i got to read. i had no worries "baby-sitting" my sis since she just stayed in one place. eh, i was done reading the last book of princess diaries, so i finally got the urge to pick up the book. they were in one table, along with princess diaries books and a few more. then, when i looked at the back of one book, i realized na series pala xa. so i looked for book one, which was hard to distinguish. all i did was look at the other's back covers, then meron namang nakalagay nang title...ah basta.u'll get it. when i managed, i picked up the glorious book angus, thongs and full-frontal snogging....

i started reading it... the book was candidly done. it was like, close to reality! georgia's opening messages were like: "hello american chums!" and things like that. she talks about how different british-english is from american-english...she even laughed at what fanny meant. she talked about how the titles of her books were changed due to language barriers. hahah...

what the critics said were true...i advise u, dnt read it all alone or u'll look crazy [take it from someone who knows] i was giggling and laughing while reading those books!

promise, if u buy these books, it's money well spent. well, if you're a fan of reality-based, teen books....it is...and if you're looking for a fun read.but for the mystery and adventure type of readers...i dnt suggest it... u'l get annoyed... haha...

well, that's it for now! boring, book review, eh? well, i'm not yet done, hahah! just w8 for the next post! ;)
