game.

Okay okay. I can't contain myself, so let's nail this shitee now and get on with it.

The prize: On the spotlight for June and July (two months, babe.), free layout w/ coding and a button. if you like any other service, tell me. Pauwi na ko eh.

Okay. I'm gonna post some pictures, and what you'll do is you'll try to find out where I first spent my last day in the beautiful London in Baker Street.

becks and posh; dave and victoria *ehem* beckham prettay woman.
beeyoncceee performing for us. ;)

They may only be three, but considering the stances, they're helpful already. I guess.

More clues:

The place has 2 parts.

The First Part...

Second Part...

Generally...

It can be pretty hard, so I am going to put the link of the website of this place in a word in this post.

It's really amazing.

Basta anything under the sun (basta I can give you. Besides money. I'm gonna splurge when I get home. ). If you get it.

How to answer: comment.

No restrictions, you can use any website or search engine. Just give me the answer. ;)

I can't believe we're actually going home. It's like, wala lang. Maybe I'm just having too much fun. It's really great in here. I mean it. Really.

But on the other hand (funny enough), I'm pretty much excited to go home. And yes, dahling, even with the airplane trip. And whyyyy you ask? Well, it's because you don't know what to expect. Yes, we learned from the previous airtrip, so what will happen tomorrow, when we board the plane again?

Anyways, I am launching a contest.

What's it about?

Wait for the next post. ;)

HUMONGOUS THANKS to the following fella's: Nina,Sarah,Margot,Princess,Rye,Axis& Angel for dropping by and leaving comments. And I also would love to thank the other people who drop by once in a while and check out my messy blog.

Speaking of messy, Oh deng, the Date thing wouldn't work. Oh well, I'll just fix it some time.

Anyways, I have a really good reason to stay in London.

What is that, you ask?

Their Library.

I know it sounds really weird but when you go there, you'll know why.

There's this whole i-really-want-to-do-my-bloody-homework-here vibe, and it even has free wi-fi. And during the free time, you can go there and take a look at the exhibits. Ah basta, it is ultra-cool. Plus, their hot chocolate is GOOOOD.

Speaking of which, I have learned to appreciate the following things because of my 2-week stay here in London....

  • KFC Fried Chicken. Yum.
  • Indian food.
  • The Tube (or known to some as Subways)

Speaking of the Tube, I have developed this routine or habit. Everytime that we ride the tube, I buy a bar of chocolate from the nearby store. And so does the rest of us, if they feel like it. Then I eat it when I want to. Hehehe.

Wow, my mom is soo cool. =)) Kanina, we were talking to each other, one of our buddy-buddy chats, when our discussion directed to designing T-shirts. I said that if I had the chance, I'll put in the front of the tee, 'I AM A GEEK'. Then she said, 'Geek. Gorgeous, Exciting, Elegant Kid. That's what you put behind your tee'. Then we went to NERD naman. 'Nonchalant, Exotic, Ravishing Darling.'. Hehehe. Then we talked about lots of fun stuff, which I really couldn't remember. Then while walking, I opened my Cadbury, and I offered some to them. And they all turned it down. I told them, 'In MY world, nobody turns down chocolates'. Then mom said, 'You can make that into an icon tapos sa dulo may picture ni Willy Wonka'. Hahah, ang babaw ko talaga. Pero really, my mom is ultra-cool.

Oy vey, new pics in my multiply + the da vinci code review.

Clikkit. ;p

1

I watched the Da Vinci code last night. The rating here's 12A, so I can watch.
Seeing the movie, I didn't find any reason for MTRCB to rate it R-18. Like, hello. =))
Well, Silas did expose his ass. (Nice ass, by the way.)
I'll do the review in multiply. ;)
Astig cinemas dun, they have rocking chairs, and it's super comfy.

Anyhoo, yesterday, before watching the Da Vinci Code...

  • We went to the Natural History Museum
  • and to the Science Museum...
  • Then ate at Lahore Lahore (Indian food is gooood. ;) )

###

Natural History Museum:

It was pretty cool, actually. Saw bones of dinosaurs and stuff. Aliw, sobra. ;)

Science Museum:

Iloveit there! 'Twas super cool. We even saw the Pixar exhibition, where they put the sketches, storyboards and some other stuff from the company that gave you most of the movies that you loved so much. Like the Incredibles, Finding Nemo, A Bug's Life and stuff. Too bad we didn't get to watch in the IMAX 3d theatre. But on the brighter side, IMAX has decided to put an IMAX theatre in Manila! Wahoo.

Thursday, May 25, 2006

Oh piss off. My sister wants to play StarCraft and wants me to get out of the computer fast.

Anyways, I have decided to remove the title thing from my layout. It's bugging me, thinking of titles all the time. They don't really matter, sometimes, even irrelevant.

Not much to talk about. Went to Blue Wave yesterday, a HUMONGOUS mall which is probably 3 times the size of ATC. No shit. Went shopping. Today, we went to Cherrington (or somewhere like that) , a theme park of some sort. It was fun, really. But I was too chicken to ride the rollercoaster. Man, that was scary.

Anyways, KFC calling.

mmhhhmmm...

Before anything else, here's Push the Button by the Sugababes.

Whew. That video was so hot. Sexy much. Haha. I loved Heidi (the girl in red) and the 'nerdish' guy. Whahah. funny.

###

Anyways, we went to LegoLand (Windsor) today... Wow man, super astig. Everything out der ober der is made out of Lego. Well, not everything--most stuff. ;) Sa tingin mo, kung yung rollercoaster gawa sa Lego, would I be making this post right now? (Help me, I'm sarcastic. Sorry.)

Anyhoo, it was so amazing. Words ain't fit to describe it. Aliw, sobra. =))

###

warning: spoiler ahead.

If you're a fan of that 70's show, here's goss about what's coming up.

  • Jackie and Hyde will be together. I love this couple, but I think they'll break up sooner or later. Toooo baaadd. It's fun to watch two very contrast personalities go together. Beware, heavy kissing on the episodes with the aforementioned couple.
  • Poor Michael. =))
  • Still Donna and Eric.
  • Fez is gonna be with some stupid and fat girl. =))
  • i think that the that 70's show will be up to season 8.
  • by Season 8, wala na si Kelso and Eric. (aka. Michael and Foreman) hoomyGod, that has got to suck. Dagdag si Josh Meyers.
  • Tapos na that 70's show!
  • I still can't get over Michael and Eric being taken away from the that 70's show. Tell me, why?

So far, that's what I have had. ;)

let her gooo....

here's Rough Landing, Holly by Yellowcard. I find this video amusing. Lurve Ryan. Yeahh. =))

and I hope that you guys enjoy it too. ;)

yeah man.

Ang ganda ng timing ni mommy. (Mannn, couldn't wait 'till August. I miss talking tagalog na. Deng, ang arte pakinggan. )

a n y w a y s...

12A ang rating ng the Da Vinci code dito. YEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH.

Means something na parang PG-13 siya, but the only thing different is 12 and above pwede, then yung 11 and below, they need a companion.

Meaning, I can watch the Da Vinci Code!

Yes.

If we had gone here earlier, w a l a naaa....

***

a n y h o o...

I love Unfabulous. Super. WEE.. k i l i g, sobra. Aylabb Jake and Addie (long story, didn't like Jake before, but she broke up with Randy Klein, and basta. hahahha ). And I love the shows here. Like, Instant Star. DANG, ang astig. P.S. Did you know that the guy who played Jake Bahari in Unfabulous was also in Lizzie McGuire (One episode lang.)? He was the Indonesian guy, na naging classmate ni Lizzie. Basta. =))

And I know some of you "watched" Beauty & the Geek. So remember the ubergeek there, Richard? He was a guest guy in one Unfabulous episode. Laughtrip.

And I do know that a lot of you love the book-turned-move The Notebook. Did you know that the book has a sequel? The title of the book is The Wedding.

But peace to y'all, I'm not really a big fan of The Notebook. I find it... well, too sappy at some sort. But its a sweet movie, tad of kisses and hugging. Haha. Peace. Same with A Walk to Remember. Peeeeaaacceee.

But the great thing about Nicholas Sparks is that he writes books with a hero, and not a heroin, which is much to say for someone who writes Romance novels. Women can never make a book about a hero or the lead character without making the hero gay-ish or too sappy. 'Cause frankly, women really don't know much about the male species. Yes, we do know most of the stuff, but really, nobody knows what goes on in all of their minds. They're just so different. So that's why chicks tend to make the lead men have their 'ideal' characteristics. Get it?

Oh well...

Can't wait till we have DSL. It almost makes me want to go home. =)) Actually, I have no prob of going home right now. Haaha...

I have an idea.

***

Reasons why I should go back in the Philippines.

  • i have my -f r i e n d s- there. Duh.
  • that's where I grew up.
  • i want to study there. kind of intimidated by the kids here.
  • things are cheaper there.
  • the sun. mann. =)) first time i ever missed the sun in my entire life.
  • the BS-ed iPod mini of mine had all its songs overwritten with mom's old songs. I have to go home and use the iTunes over there.
  • erm...how do you put this... the malls. hahah.
  • my God, can you believe how expensive Starbucks here is? It's like 3x the price of the drinks in Starbucks there.
  • teka, di ata kasama yung nasa taas ah. Hahah. Anyways, I am a night person. I take comfort in the dark. Eh 9 na ng gabi dito super liwanag parin.
  • I just miss home.

hmmm.............

Don't you find it somewhat annoying to be in a situation like this:

-name ng friend mo-

(Friendster profile...)

blah blah.

favorite books: none, b o r i n g books. walang kwenta.

tapos biglang makikita mo sa library nagbabasa habang katabi yung mga kaibigan.

or worse, alam mong mahilig magbasa yung friend mo.

May mali ata dun. eff. hahah.

And I don't think reading books aren't bad, some people are just afraid to be labeled nerds. It's cool with me. So what if I'm a nerd? Bakit, yang mga computer, mga car, mga console na ginagamit niyo, sino nagimbento? mga nerd, siyempre. hahah. And they are the ones who get the money. Plus, yung label na nerd, wala na yan after school. When the society comes and accepts you as a working person, advantage pa yun.

So go do your pretending somewhere else.

Somewhere like...the N. Pole? Ayaw? Sa South Pole trip mo? Go somewhere where people don't appreciate nerds.

But frankly, i really shouldn't give a damn.

Pero it's really annoying, i tell you.

aggghhh.

I feel so frustrated everytime I see and think of sunglasses. Really, now. It's because hours ago, we went to the Portabello Road (notorious for its appearance in Notting Hill), and it's one looooonnnggg road full of shops and stalls. Grabe.

Eh I was in uberbeeyotch mode, so I was sooooo pissseeeddd. Kasi naman, everytime I see something nice, hindi ako maririnig ni mommy. I tried calling her, wala. Bingi kasi. hahah. Eh graaabeee, ang daming aviators and sunglasses, and ang mura. DENG. BS talaga oh. Ang tanga ko kasi eh. Puuuutek. Hahah. Ohweell, maybe I can convince them to go back there.

Now you know how I am when I'm mad. I turn to and uberbitch. And you wouldn't like that becausseee.....

  • I don't talk to you. In fact, I don't talk to anyone. And if I do, I use a "tone" with you, or snap at you. Who wants that?
  • DUH.

Damnnn. Ang cute pa naman nung isang wallet. Shit.

What have I done?

***

a n y w a y s...

As I was in my u.b. mode kanina, I kept on thinking...

"They make this movie in a place called Notting Hill, and the only part set on the very same place is the sole blue door in the street". And I thought, "BS." hahah.

***

a n y h o o...

I came up with something kanina, while riding the tube...

"Love is like a thumbtack that you step on, on your way to the bathroom at the middle of the night. It comes unexpectedly and you don't have to know it. It comes without reason. So if you just feel like you love someone, just do so, and don't ask yourself why."

If it doesn't make any sense for you, sorry ka. Joke lang. haha. But that's how I see it. I mean, why ask yourself if you love someone, when ide'deny mo rin naman at some point? It just comes. Not everything in the world has to have a reason. Some things, only that guy (points to the ceiling) knows why they happen.

hoy.

yo. i know huwat 'yer doin and i'm sensing it, my dear. i not stupad (whatiber). if you want to wreck my life, you can't. 'cause i'm in london.

pak, whatiber.

=))

what i just said makes me laugh. but i can't because i'll look like a loon. but really. to put it properly:

Dude, I know what you're doing and I can sense it, carina. I'm not stupid. If you want to wreck my life, sorry, CAN'T. (partially because I'm in London=)) ).

Thank God for my Sherlock Holmes streak. Bit of a detective here, yeah?

hmm...

If you look at postcards available of Prince William and Prince Harry together, you can notice that Prince Harry SORT OF looks better than Prince William now (it was the other way around before.). Hell, don't ask me what happened to Prince William, but I just sort of feeling Prince Harry right now. Prince William looked better before. See?

I guess there's just something about being 21.

I won't waste crap explaining it all to you, that's just how I see it with my four eyes. Too bad you people only have 2. Haha.

***

If there's one thing about London that you can get pretty cheap, those are books. And they don't come cheap either, they're very easy to find.

I got 2 books, one with the promo of buy 1 get one 1/2 the price. So turns out, it costs about 5oo pesos each book. That's cheap already, considering the thickness, kind and length of the book. Books that kind in the Philippines are about 600 +++. So considering the circumstances, they're cheap already.

***

Went to St. Paul's Cathedral earlier (if it sounds familiar to you, that's where Princess Diana and Prince Charles got married) .It was sooooooo boring. Really. Really. Boring. After that, had lunch then went to the Tate Modern Gallery. Boring at first, but went kinda interesting at the latter part. I wanted to buy the Angry Young Girls comic book (it was the hardbound kind) but we were only walking, and not bringing the car, so we will have to go back for it someday. 'Cause it's kind of heavy, and Chiara wants to buy this Manga book, which will serve as her birthday gift from mommy. Ate lunch at Tate Modern, then just roamed around. Went to the London Aquarium (hahaha. fish, man. they're so... i don't know.) then the London Eye. Man, the London Eye 'flight' was fun. Hahah! You wouldn't feel that you were moving. Whattan amazing contraption. After that, ate at the Pizza Express (may sound like a grubby fast food thing, but it's a really posh place to eat in.)

***

I got this 'extra' money from my ninong, £75. Which is about 7,500 pesos here. And I still have my £30, so I have 10,000, more or less. And I was thinking about how to spend it. I was so excited, and I was telling my mom my ideas (she just rolled her eyes. hahah!). Then the idea of having my hair relaxed crossed. Then she told me, 'Papayat ka munaaa' (so much for motivation. =)) )Then we debated. My uncle and ninong were listening, so my ninong asked...

'Ilang taon na si Isa?' (Isa's my household name. Short for Isabel, my second/third name. Or however you will place it)

'12 turning 13 sa September' my mom answered.

'Ahh. Sige. Ito motivation. Yung katawan mo by 13, yun na katawan mo habang buhay'.

And I thought about it.

What a perfect motivation. No room for escape.

And the good stuff about it is that mom will now use her money for the relax and the derma thing, and hands off my dinero. Oh yes.

***
Haaay, I really want those shades that I saw in Lakeside. They're almost £8. 800 bucks for shades. woah, man. Hahahha.

***
Nhedeian, sorry if I can't post pictures yet, I can't resize them pa eh, the adobe's not installed yet. But don't worry, as soon as I can, I'll post the pictures.

***

If there's one thing that I noticed about England, it's how beautiful women here are (yeah boys, so gather 'round. hahah). As soon as I came up with that assumption, I looked for not-so-good-looking women. And so far, I have not found any. haha!

Speaking of beauty, if I were to classify Matteo (right now), instead of the boy-next-door cute, I'd classify him as the pretty boy. God, man, he's so cute. So angelic. Sooobra. You should see him.

Anyhoo, new pics in my multiply!!!

Thursday, May 18, 2006
i'm not saying i'm good;i'm saying i'm capable.

Wow. Busy day that we had.

For starters, we were supposed to go to LegoLand (A place where there are gazillions of Legos, all built into fancy shapes and stuff.), but it was closed (talk about shit). So what we did was we just went to the Windsor castle (where the Queen and her family stays for vacation, I think. I wasn't listening. =)) ) and it may sound geeky and stuff, but I liked it. It was fun. Oh right, I haven't told you about the audio guide... The audio guide was what made it fun. Really. There's this remote-like thing, that you press buttons in, and then when you press the play button, it guides you throughout the Windsor castle. Amazing. Haha. Instead of choosing the English-Adult Mode, I chose the Family version, just for fun. It had this story of Horace (who's the tour guide) who has lived in the castle long enough to say everything about it. It's really kind of fun. Plus, you don't look stupid when you practically stare your eyes of in the ceilings. My gehd, you should go there, 'cause the rooms there have the weirdest history. For example, the King's bedroom. It's not really his bedroom, he just uses it to make the extra-special guests feel important. Why is that? Because, you really don't just let anyone into your bedroom, unless they're really important, am I right? And the bedroom's ultra complete. With the fireplace and the I-want-to-sleep-in-that-bad-and-feel-like-a-princess bed. Beautiful.

And there's this doll collection, and a dollhouse. It's not your typical dollhouse, everything there is real. It's just the mini version of the whole Palace! There's real gold, and real iron. You have to see it, to get my point here. Too bad we can't take pictures. Hey, maybe google has some pictures. Let me check.

Saw some. Post it sometime, I guess. C'mon, it's almost 12 here, you have to forgive me.

The doll house was owned by Queen Mary, and it was given to her as a present.

After the whole Windsor thing, we went to the Windsor Royal Shopping Centre (or however you call it) and we ate at EAT. Looked around, then went to Matteo's house.

My God, they are soo hyperactive. We even watched SpongeBob the Movie in Italian. Ohye. Haha.

***

I think that I was meant to live in London. Maybe in my previous life, I did. It's because I feel so at-home in here, and everything is just so fascinating. I find even their radio shows pretty funny, just like the ones here. So much for being patriotic, I want to live here.

Plus, I bought this book about the previous Kings & Queens of England (that's my souvenier from the Windsor castle. =)) ) and I read about Queen Victoria, my namesake. And we do actually have the same characteristics. Terrible temper, easily falls but crashes harder. And when she ruled, it was considered the Golden Age of England. She is a good leader.

And I'm not saying I'm a good leader too; I'm just saying I'm capable of being one.

Wednesday, May 17, 2006
oh noo.

After almost 2 days of no bath, i finally took a bath. YES.

Anyhoo, I met my cousins and ninong and ninang last night (and a whole tub of KFC and chips. Apparently, chips here are french fries.)

My God, Matteo's hyper active. And I mean hyper. Gaia is such a sweetie. Very tiring to have them both.

Anyways, I was fixating myself on the youtube videos addiction, and i dug this one up:

It's next to you, and a presentation of marmalade boy and some of its nice scenes.

Marmalade boy's this manga that the whole Isaiah '06 girls got addicted to once in the school year. It is so nice. kakakilig.

I hope you guys like it. ;)

playgrounds.

I have forgotten to tell you about the "nice" part (emphasis on the part) of the flight.

See, we boarded Emirates. And since Emirates was Dubai's official aircraft (well, not official. It's just like the Philippine Airlines), we had to drop by in Dubai.

So technically, our flights were...

Manila - Dubai = 9 hours.

Dubai- London = Some 7 hours.

No shit. 16 hours. Woah.

So about the nice part of the flight, the Manila-Dubai flight is ultra cool. Really. Why?

  • For starters, I didn't puke on this flight.
  • Second, we each had a TV, and the features are tres cool. There's the movie, radio & cds, tv, and games option.

So let's concentrate on the TV features. My gehd, Lia was right, movies aren't really that new. But hey, the TV features, they have 3 episodes of a lot of shows, including:

  • the Simpsons
  • Scrubs
  • Friends
  • King of Queens
  • 8 Simple Rules

and a lot more. Radio & cds options have most of the latest music, including Madonna, Nickleback and Coldplay.

As far as I can remember, the movies that I watched were:

  • Fun with Dick and Jane
  • Princess Diaries 1
  • Just Like Heaven
  • Just Friends

Oh yes. Too bad they didn't have The OC or That 7o's show. But I guess it's too much to ask already.

***

Anyways, we went to the park awhile ago, AND IT WAS SO COOL. The playground is molto fabuloso. No shit. I even played (hey, it's only May. I'm still 12). And it was super fun. I was a dire kid the whole time. I played in the swing, in this really peculiar see-saw, the jungle thingy, and the really really cool slide. Plus, there were lots of things that you wouldn't see in a normal playground. It is super cool. And, super fun. We even had ice cream afterwards.

My God,the park was really beautiful. With all the trees (mygehd, talking about trees and trees makes me sound like I'm addicted to trees. Hahah.) and people and kids around, it's a good place to be with your boyfriend, or whoever you love. And we even saw tons of dogs, who are all fit and really really huge. There's one dog, who's practically covered with fur all over, and its color is choco brown, so he looks like a bear. Hahah!

***

Anyways, I watched the That 70's show special features in YouTube (thanks for the suggestion, Angel. She suggested to watch One Tree Hill in youtube. And i thought, why not the OC? Wow. The wonders of youtube) and it began with Wimer Valderrama. Wow, his voice (the real one, not the Fez one) is real nice. BUT still, his Fez voice will be stuck in my head. Haha.

Whahah. If you watch that 7o's show, don't you find it funny how Kelso/Michael says "Jackie"? I mean, he says it, "jaKEEE". Wah. I swear Wilmer looks Filipino. Is he?

***

Woot, we gon' have a party this Saturday. Haha. And I can't wait to see Matti and Gaia later! We're gonna have KFC! Yey...

***

AND MERONG NICKLEODEON DITO! I SWEAR I SWEAR I SWEAR.

Chiara and I pratically screamed. Super. I lovelove it. Yun nga lang, ang weird nung commercials. But it's still Nick and nothin can change that. ;)

living the british life.

I don't want to go home for the following reasons:

  • We have to board a plane again, and seriously, nobody wants that. You want frozen hamburgers? EW.
  • I love it here. SUPER. I mean, the house is a B E A U T Y, and everything's so quiet.
  • DSL and Broadband dito eh!
  • I want to have an English accent!
  • Maraming "British Delights" as Nicole dubbs it. (That is satirical. And I don't mean cookies or sweets in any way.)
  • No one wants to vomit in a plane. Going down from the plane was horrible. I was feeling so sick, I barfed (I know, EW) a lot of times, and I was so messy. I haven't taken a bath in hours, my hair is like Chiara's already (haha) and ack. It just sucks.

***

So from what I pretty much just said, you can figure that I am in beautiful London right now, and I am staying in my grandpa's and uncle's house. It is beyond fabulous. There are atleast four computers (3 laptops and 1 flat screen) and all of them have either Wi-Fi, Broadband or both. So I pretty much will be blogging a lot. Oh yes.

Sadly, no pictures yet. Hahahahahhaha.

Sige, sige, I'll take pictures of the house. It is so lovely. I mean, not in the Victorian-ish sense, but more of the loft-ish sense, and they have more than 300 channels here, and THEY HAVE NICKLEODEON! YES AND TRIPLE YES. Hahah.

Pero not now. haha.

Woah, I was so wasted during the flight, (Dubai-London). Super. Good thing I got to sleep in the car going here. I can't get over how wasted I was. Sheesh.

***

Anyhoo, HOLY CRAP MY IPOD RAN OUT OF BATTERY. I just charged it yesterday, full bat, then when I got it, wala nang batt! I think this iPod's haunted. No shit. One time, I just left it alone, then watched TV. No one was using it, then it suddenly turned on. My God. Now I have to charge it all over again. Crapnosity.

***

Anyways, I now know why enviromentalists have been obssesing over growing trees in the Philippines. Know why? My gehd, when you see London, TREES ARE ABSOLUTELY EVERYWHERE.

Then when we were on the way here, before I slept, I saw this whole field covered with yellow flowers. Beyond fabulous sight. Super. And then there was this field, full of sheep. Wow, I really love it.

Anyhoo, be back when I can.

For now, I'll be living the british life. ;)

tenenen.

Haha. 'Cause y'all are to mean to tell me what happened to MI 3, I just asked Josh. So much for the free layout. Well, not really 'cause I'm still accepting requests for free layouts. Haha.

But I still want to watch the end of that movie, so I'm hoping there's M.I. 3 on the plane.

We're leaving later, 2:30, and I'm killing time. Flight is 6.45. Layo pa noh?

I'l misyoo all!!! mwah mwah annnd mwaaah.

Hay, I am so excited.

What would you do if you looked at the wings of your plane and you see it being torn apart?

i don't want to be a stupid girl.

I was watching the Oprah primetime replay awhile ago (I was eager to watch it the moment I saw the trailer. ;) ), and I just can't help but blog because my mind was going to burst with the thoughts in my mind. Because that's the way I am. A geek with a mind that will suddenly just burst with thoughts. I am (literally) a thoughtful person. ;)

Anyways... Oprah Oprah.

"If I wasted my time trying to be someone else, I wouldn't be who I am right now." -Pink

So, let's talk about Pink's song, Stupid Girls. And the topic it talks about.

Initially, before you run an angry mob over Pink (for impersonating your favorite celebs), her song's main purpose is to spark conversations, debates and discussions about a topic that has taken over America, and is slowly, slowly taking over our very own country.

What topic?

Being completely obsessed with celebrities that you exactly HAVE to dress like them, buy things from their clothing line, augment or lessen your body parts, go to the bars that they go to and most of all, acting or pretending to be dumb, JUST SO GUYS LIKE YOU.

That is very stupid.

What maddens me is pretending to be dumb while you're not. You were given a gift and you should use it well. I'm not going to go about like a nun here, about using your talents wisely. But please, please do yourself a favor AND USE IT.

And I have to credit most young Filipino boys and men for actually going in for the "smart and beautiful" part. I once read Yael Yuzon comment in this Candy Magazine,

"I'm scared FOR a girl when she's not smart." - Yael.

I am not saying all American boys are all about girls with good looks, but that's what they show. On TV, on movies, anywhere and everywhere you look. They always prefer beauty over brains. It's good to know atleast, that some boys actually have enough sense to choose brains over beauty, or if not, both. My God, if I were a boy, I will have to be scared for myself to have a dumb girlfriend.

And it's true that no one is stupid in this world. EVERYONE'S SMART IN THEIR OWN WAY.

And being stupid, or flashing your breasts during Spring Break is not about deciding about it. It's not about making choices. You made yourself become overtaken by these "people" that you look up to, and actually act like them, affecting the decisions that you make.

Looking up to celebrities is one thing, acting and dressing the way they do is another.

You are practically defying the law of "being yourself".

You're not being yourself, you're being "objectified, imitating another person".

And why is this happening to us? Because of the things that they show around us. Media, of course, is a big key to how our world goes, how it works, how it progresses. Influence, is how to put it.

And let's say, I don't easily give in to influence. But I guess some girls do.

Because (much to my chagrin), they named in Oprah (well, they didn't actually name the books, they showed the pictures. but whatever, that's the same) Teen Fiction or Chick Lit, as how we all put it, as an influence to how young ladies act. Quoting some provocative and "ewww much" phrases from the books, they commented on how the books curb in young American women into acting the same way as the characters do, and actually making them brand-conscious, maybe choosing Manolo Blahniks over Keds or maybe something over Gucci or Prada. And I have actually read some of these books, and I felt the same me after reading those books. I'm still Vicky, and I still think buying Gucci bags is impractical.

Now I get why people want to ban the Da Vinci code, because some can't just understand what fiction is.

Anyhoo, I will continue reading these kinds of books, because I'm not easily influenced by them, and I really think that reading is fun.

And what do they want us to read? How IBM was built? Or why elephants can't dance? Or the Six Sigma thingy for businesspeople?

Even as a bookworm, I would stay away from these stuff. Well, I'm only 12. When I grow older, 4o maybe, I might be interested in these books.

ANYWAYS. (There's this thing about me. I'm easily distracted. One time I'm thinking about Sergio Mendes and things just connect and I end up thinking about Gio. )

I'm proud to be a geek, and if you're one, then you should be too.

There's this thing about stereotypes in America.

You want to know what stereotypes are?

ster·e·o·type ( P ) Pronunciation Key (str--tp, stîr-)n.

A conventional, formulaic, and oversimplified conception, opinion, or image.

One that is regarded as embodying or conforming to a set image or type.

See, stereotypes are like having this certain image of an adjective. Like geeks. If you're wearing glasses and actually have braces on at the same time, you're a geek already, disregarding if you're as rich as Jay-Z or if you love shopping in Louis Vuitton with your Valentino dress on. (There's this thing about Chick Lit books naming labels in it. You learn A LOT. ) Or for example, beautiful. When you say beautiful, you say tall, stick-like, long-haired, blonde, small breasts and so on.. That's what stereotypes are. And I loathe stereotypes. Really.

So back to the stereotypes thing in America. Stereotypes leave room for teens to give in to stereotypes. Say, if you're beautiful, you typically have to be a size two. And I guess that's where it all starts.

So if you're thinking of dying your hair blonde, having lipsuction and trying to have a sex tape, please do yourself and everyone around you a teeny-weeny favor.

Think about it.

***

P.S. Fave authors Meg Cabot and Louise Rennison are people who I wouldn't dare categorize to the same authors who wrote the books shown in Oprah (sorry to tell you, they were the gossip girls and the clique series.). Not because I'm bias, but read their books and read Cecile von Ziegesar's (pardon me, I don't know how to spell her surname) and you'll notice the difference. Because you do actually learn something from Meg Cabot. I am honest about this.

in a city of devils we live...

"it's hard to find angels in hell" - yellowcard, city of devils.

I am currently listening to: Lights and Sounds - Yellowcard (the album, not the song. )

***

Here are some snapshots from the movie Princess Diaries I and some quotes that I would always remember. ;)

Michael: Why me?
Mia: Because you saw me when I was invisible.
***
Eduard Christoff Philippe Gérard Renaldi, Prince of Genovia: Courage is not the absence of fear but rather the judgment that something is more important than fear.
The brave may not live forever but the cautious do not live at all. (that guy with the unbelievably long name is Mia's dad.)
***

Helen Thermopolis: This is getting us nowhere! Talk to me!
Mia: I can't talk to you right now. I'm late for a meeting with my guidance counselor.
Queen Clarisse Renaldi: I'm late for a meeting with Spain and Portugal!
***
Mia: Hey, Joe?
Joe: Mm-Hmmm?
Mia: I'm gonna turn the backseat into a dressing room so I can change into a proper outfit for Madame, OK?
Joe: OK. And don't forget your shoes.
Mia: Ahh, thanks.
Joe: Strange town, San Francisco. When I purchased the pumps, they asked if I wanted them wrapped or if I was going to wear them.
***
Joe: I have never worn pantyhose but it sounds very dangerous.
***

Mia: I don't want to rule my own country, I just want to pass the tenth grade.
***

Mia: I can't be a princess! I'm still waiting for normal body parts to arrive!

***

Joe: [speaking to Mia] Nobody can make you feel inferior without your consent.

*****

ANYWAYS, haha. As I was just showing my *ehem* unpronounced (rigght.) love for the Princess Diaries, let's drift off to another topic.

Awhile ago, my mom and I watched M.I. 3. Bad choice. NO NO NO. I'm not saying it's a bad movie, it's just that Mom can't even enjoy it, so I wasn't able to enjoy it either. If I were an action fan (or a boy, for that matter), then I would have appreciated it in a whole new level. Sadly, I'm not. And mom isn't either. So too bad.

We left before the movie ended. And no, it's NOT BECAUSE IT'S HORRIBLE, it's because mom was so worried with Chiara being outside (Chiara didn't watch with us. She chose TimeZone over M.I.3. Sometimes, I wonder what's going on with that mind of hers.) and she saw me practically drifting to sleep, she nudged me and said, "Halika, puntahan na natin si Chi". Ofcourse, I wouldn't dare say no, because that will make me NOT appreciate the movie more. So we just went outside.

BUT NO, REALLY. The movie's really good. It's just that, I'm no action fan (except on some circumstances. I would gladly love action in a movie when it involves Daniel Radcliffe or someone. Haha.), and "BANGS" and "BOOMS" are not my thing. And so are machine guns.(except on Time Crisis. That's a huge exception.) I actually don't know how I feel about the movie, SINCE I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW HOW IT ENDED. Hoo boy.

IF YOU HAVE WATCHED M.I.3, PLEASE PLEASE TELL ME HOW IT ENDED.

I AM BEGGING YOOOUUUU.

Please?!

I am giving you a free layout, or anything that you want if you tell me the ending. Seriously.

Stupid actually, watching a movie and not finding out how it ended. What the hell was I thinking? That stupid lesson in Filipino where you have to guess the outcome of the story? Ew. hah.

***

Speaking of free layouts, I am opening requests for layouts, buttons and icons. And coding.

Haha. Free, FOR NOW. Kidding. Basta, go free, tag or comment if you want or need a free layout, a button, coding or icons. Or better yet, add me in YM with this address: bratty_in_blue18@yahoo.com and let's talk about how you want it to go. I wouldn't favor puting a freedback thing in my navbar since I barely open my e-mail. So it's either comment, IM or tag.

If you want to.

Oh my God, we're leaving for London nga pala nooohhh!

Thanks to Lia for the advice. ;) ;) You really know me well. Haha!

Oy, who wants Prince William?

Just kidding. ;)

heyy.

It's Friday already! And it feels so good when you are in a really good mood the whole day. ;)

Anyways, I just finished making a layout for mi amici, Angel. Check it out here. ;) But, I ain't sure if she's going to use it kagad, or if she's going to use it anyways. But I hope that she does. Haha.

Anyways, good news on the Da Vinci Code Movie front. CBCP wouldn't allow it to be banned (or atleast wouldn't ban it), and I heard from the TV just seconds ago that quote"malayo raw ma'ban ang the da vinci code sa mga sinehan".

I was just thinking of it, and why the hell am I even worried, I'm not even here when it'll be showing!!! When I arrive, most probably, wala na yung movie. That's why we were planning to watch it on London, or if fortunate, sa airplane. And too bad, 'cause my mom told me that the movies that they show sa airplane are movies that ARE being shown sa U.S., that's why advance siya, 'cause they show movies ahead, diba?

And yes, I am still in love with the That 7o's show. I'll miss 14 new episodes of it, and it sucks big time. Atleast on the OC front, i'll only miss 2 episodes. That kind of sucks. Haha.

rainy days and fridays.

I love it when I wake up in the morning, and the rain is falling. I love, love that feeling. So I woke up today in an exceptionally good mood (sleeping early at 12.30 last night also contributed to the good mood. hey, that's early for me already.).

Speaking of the rain, isn't it glorious? After all the blood and sweat and tears (drama much.) during the summer time, beautiful evaporations are coming down to save us from the sweltering heat. I really love it when it rains. I mean, it's so fun, just watching the rain fall down, reminscing or thinking about stuff, or simply just cuddling with someone you love or atleast, with your old stuffed toy that you have always loved to hug. Or watching your favorite DVD or TV Show (or both, the TV Show on DVD. just like the oc. ;) ) Haay, the rain.

twisted perfection and beautiful coincidences.

I just did a horribly wrong thing that might make me end up blind and unable to see all the hot guys for the rest of my life. (NOOOO! lol! ). Well, because there's this HUMONGOUS thing in my right cheek (and no, it's not a pimple, because it ain't growing any smaller) and I asked my mom about it, she said that it wasn't a pimple and she was sure of it. But I got buggered about it just minutes ago, so I re-washed my face. I actually forgot that I have been in front of the computer for quite a long time already, and it's pretty much bad for the eye. And I love my eyes. Aww boy.

Anyways, about the title... Well, I just love how it sounds (don't you?) I read the phrase somewhere, I think it was in Blogskins. And the beautiful coincidences part, well I just thought of that part up. When I saw a shoutout from someone, followed by the fact that "that" person's birthday is 1o days before mine. Wow. Hahaha.

Anywho.... I think this layout is winning already, hands down to the yc one.

***

Anyhow (at kung anu-ano pang any), Josh and I were talking about the "banning" of the Da Vinci Code Movie. Oo nga naman, if they will ban the movie, then they SHOULD have banned the book. But it's too late already, and of course, kung ikakatwiran natin yan sa Gobyerno, kung ano-ano nanamang kabalbalan ang sasabihin nila. What do they have against the book anyway? Yes, it does have views against the Christians and Catholics, but we should accept the boook AS ENTIRELY FICTION. As far as I have heard (I never listen to news nowadays.), the Vatican hasn't reacted to the topic yet, and I bet that they never will. Because for them, the book is entirely fiction, even if Mr. Brown states otherwise.

But from the other point of view, the book is very, very good. It really makes you think. In fact, it made me think a great deal. And it's amazing how Mr. Brown makes the book have a "freaky" feeling, while the book's topic is different from the suspense feeling that it gives. And yes, Dan Brown has one of the most complex and the most creative minds in the whole wide universe. And I lobe it.

Anyways anyways, I'll be back tomorrow. Gotta socialize, baby! ;)

you say yes, and i say no.

Listening to: Taller in More Ways - Sugababes

I don't have piano lessons today, since my teacher won't make it. Too bad, I practiced last night pa naman. Anyways, I watched the That 7o's show awhile ago (3 am in the morning) and it is full of hilarosity. Oh yes. I love Wilmer Valderrama. Oh yes I do. And everytime I see him on TV, I will laugh my heart out and look like a loon. Oh yes. And once, I saw him in ET, having this picture thingy, and he looked so different. And yeah, they'll soon have their season finale, and I will never hear the end of it. I have to save up money to buy the dvds of the That 70's show, if ever that they have. Haha. Anyways, back to Wilmer, I will never ever see him as a different Wilmer, and his image in That 7o's show will stay in my mind. OH YES.I wonder if his voice is really like that in real life... Haha. I bet it's not, 'cause he never will be with Lindsay if his voice is like that. Ohh boy. Haha.

***

Anyways anyways, I already have two opinions from people who I trust a lot, Ate Muy and Princess, and they told me that this present layout should stay. Haha.
WHAT
DO YOU
GUYS
THINK
KASI???
I have to know. Please. I am begging you. Tell me. Either through commenting, or through the cbox.

Speaking of commenting, I have re-installed my haloscan. I have had it since my "are you ready to party?" layout, but it got removed when I changed layouts. So I made I new one.

I hope that you guys comment. Please please please. :) I am begging you. Please please please.

Wow, I have a new nickname, and that is beekee. Haha. I just thought of it months ago, when I was going to change my name for my friendster. And now, people are using that name to address me. Sounds the same with vicky though. But Beekee's cute.

Anywho, I am planning to change my site url. Whatdya think suits me? I'm thinking...

thegeekinflipflops? naah.
thegeekinchucks?
iamabookworm?
coloritbrown?
geekinthepink?ahah

So what do you guys think?

Again, opinions opinions.

So to sum it all up, I need opinions for...
the layout that I am going to use...
and if I'm gonna change my URL, what URL should it be? hahah.

I lobe lobe you all, and muwahhh.

all i ask of you.

I am going to change my layout. I'm not sure if I'll stick with it or not. I need your opinions. This one that I made is quite different from the yc layout. It's kind of vintage-ish and pretty much feminine. And yes, it is based from "All I Ask of You" from the movie Phantom of the Opera.

I
REALLY
NEED
YOUR
OPINIONS.

Now, tell me what layout suits me best. Can you? Pleeassse? But between the two, not being bias or anything, I like this one more, 'cause... I don't know, it's more me-ish compared to the previous yc layout. And if you choose the yc one, then I'll have to recode again. Haha.

Anyways anyways (I just love doubling words.), we have a new blogger of the month!
And it is...

drum roll please,

N I N A!

You asking why? Visit her blog here and you'll find your answer. Plus, I have always loved the layouts that she used. Seriously. From her first one, which is the Billabong one to the Candy Shop up to now. Yup, I'm an avid watcher of her blog. ;) (Saying such makes me sound like a stalker. Haha!)

As I have said, I changed the blogger of the month earlier than the said time because of the "London" trip. I am looking for the next blogger of the month and that might be YOU! Haha.
You may ask, what is the basis for being chosen? Honestly, nothing. Just the blog that makes me go "Wow" and has an adequate amount of posts can be blogger of the month already. Plus points if you put effort to the posts that you make. Well if you don't put effort but your posts are naturally good, then you can be the b.o.t.m.

***

Holy crap. I was just counting the days 'till the latest seasons of That 7o's show and The O.C. AND HOLY SHIT. They're the tuesday after our flight! THE DAY AFTER! My God, this is sooo unfair. WAHHHH! :(( This is so similar to the Nickleodeon incident. I was faithfully following every TeenNick show, until they cut it of. Imagine how frustrating that was. (Ang ganda rin ng timing nila. Kung kelan magiging araw araw yung fave shows ko, KELAN NILA PUPUTULIN. HIINAAYUUPAAK.) Ayan tuloy, I can't watch anything good on TV during Saturdays (right right. Drawn Together and South Park. Eh kahit na.)
(I never got over it and I never will. I shall plot revenge against the cable guys and they will PAY. evil laugh. muwahahah.)

cries.
cries harder.
humahagulgol na.
bumabaha na dito.
just keep swimming, swimming.
i am the one paddling like crazy through the night (ay, morning na pala).

Wah, this is so sad.

Ang oa ko talaga.

Wahhh.

Anyways, speaking of That 7o's show, have you noticed that Ashton Kutcher (the "Micheal" guy) and Wilmer Valderrama (I love him. He's my favorite character. Oh yeeeaah. Haha! ) are the ones getting the hot ladies while the "lead" Topher Grace gets stuck...well, in movies with Laura Linney (see, you don't know her) and some other people that I don't know. But he's going big time. He's gonna be a villain in Spider Man 3. But still. Ashton's with Demi and Wilmer WAS with Lindsay. Waaah. I sooo love Fez (or whatever his name is. He's Wilmer, btw). How does he do his voice anyways?

OH OH OH. That 7o's show na. Be back later! ;) Right, piano lessons today. :)

ice kendi. ;)

I was eating ice kendi awhile ago, courtesy of Ate Monica (as I am over here, at her housy, pousy, mousy. whatever. hahah.). Milo yung flavor. And since I miss talking in Filipino in this blog, I shall talk in Filipino in this post, even if I was reserving it for August.

nag-iisip...
nag-iisip parin...

On second thought, I'll just blog in English for now.

Awhile ago, I was watching the MTV Asian Awards '06, since I missed it last May 6. I practically screamed when I caught it on MTV today, but it started already, and Vanness(hey, he was cute. AND not in the F4ish way. ) was announcing the Favorite Artist for Korea. Good thing I didn't miss the awarding of the Favorite Artist: Philippines. I forgot who I voted for, but it was really great that Rivermaya won. They had a really nice "speech". Yup, loved it. Even the Thai people loved it, even if they didn't understand parts of it. But I bet they wished they did. The host of the MTVAA06 was hot. The guy with Kelly Rowland? Whatshisname? Anyways... That guy, se7en, I am begging him, never to don the "gold" look. It looks gay. Peace to his fans. He's good-looking, though, and his energy is soo consistent. Oh yes.

AGH. I was soo frustrated. I mean, why oh why did Simon Webbe win? I mean, he's good, allriigghht. But FORT MINOR'S BETTER! AAAAGGH. And fans were screaming already. "Fort minooor." My gehd. Ohwell. I was a Blue fan anyways. And I still love their music. Such a shame that they have to go solo. Too bad.

Ay Carina, we gon' eat Double Dutch. Check out my multiply. Just do. Click heerreee.

carina.

OH YES. I am back. After three grueling days without the internet (or the computer, for that matter) I get to blab and blab and blab.

Surprisingly, though, I am very very tired right now, and I want to go to sleep. Well, half of my body wants to sleep, my mind doesn't want to sleep. 'Cause I lobe you all, and I want to update. Haha! So during the previous days that I have not updated, I was away to QC to go to my dad's house and stay there with my cousins, 'cause it is very rare for them to come over to Manila 'cause they live in Marinduque. In case you don't know where that is, google it. Haha.I wouldn't want to put everything that we did day-by-day, so I'll just put the highlights (IF I ever had any, for crying out loud) of my three-day stay out there. ;)

    • Surprisingly, I was able to stay up late with my cousin, Mary Rose and Chiara for the three days. We were supposed to stay longer last night, but there was a brownout, soo... too bad.
    • Went to SM yesterday and watched Aquamarine. Review on Multiply. BOY, THAT MOVIE IS G O O D! Not what I expected. ;) Kudos to Jo Jo and Emma Roberts. And Jane Paxton (or was it Joanna?)
    • I wouldn't call this a highlight, but still. I partly saw my cousin (who lives nearby) and hear his voice.
    • We watched Princess Diaries I in ABS-CBN. YES. I have had a hard time catching that film on Disney.

Wah. I won't be talking much about that, though. It wasn't really a "good" visit. Well, better compared to the last one. I hate it when dad is being such a "know-it-all" and a "sarcastic" person. Lord help me.

Anyways, I am getting addicted to "Think of Me" and "All I ask of You" from the OST of the Phantom of the Opera. I know, I absolutely abhore classic music, but I love this one. I avoid listening to "Overture" in the CD, though, it freaks the hell out of me. Emmy Rossum is good. Wee.

I do have so much things to talk about besides the three-day stay, though. Atleast that's what I think.

Ohkaay. After I finished the previous paragraph, I have totally run out of the things that I have to stay.

I shall meditate and think...

Ohmm....

Humm...

Still can't remember anything...

Oh, right. Haha. Thanks for the people who were texting me during the three-day stay. Thanks for keeping me SANE. Oh yes. Grazie, carinas (and carinos)

Anyways, Nicole (the guy. okay?) and I were texting awhile ago, and I asked him...

Vicky: Diba pag artista ka, tapos birthday mo pakakantahin nila yung special
"someones" mo?

Nicole: Bakit, magaartista ka para kantahan ka ni mr.?!

Vicky: Kung kakanta siya eh magaartista na ko! wahaha. pakakanta ko sakanya
yellowcard

Nicole: My humps nalang! Kasama actions!

Vicky: Ayoko nga, birthday ko, My Humps? No thanks.

Nicole: Ayaw mo? Edi Beep. Ayon pwede na.

That's how the coversation went. Or atleast how I remember it. Haha.

Now, I am gonna ask, Will you go in the showbiz industry so that your crush will sing for you?

Answer, obviously, is NO. Hell. No.

Haha!

God, I am so weird.

So before I talk about the stuff that I was about to talk about a while ago, let's put picturesss!

i love my pink chucks!meet chuckie, the pink chucksfit and rebel. oh yess

Pictures! A good way to start my next topic.

So so soo. Last Saturday, I, my mom and Chiara went s h o p p i n g. For clothes. For London. But it entirely doesn't make any sense since you're practically shopping for w a r m clothes while it's summer over here. So it's pretty hard... Haha! I ended up shopping for good stuff, and we will shop again at Tiendesitas and Market Market this coming Saturday since our schedule was moved to the 15th, which is a Monday. We are going back on the 3oth. I am soo excited. Oh yess. So speaking of the shopping experience, I got my pink chucks!!!!!!! I named it Chuckita. Oh yes, carina (darling in Italian. and no, it's not a name), Chuckita the pink chucks. Yes and triple yes.. I was supposed to get the high-cut, but I ended up with the low-cut, 'cause apparently, my calves are too fat for the high-cut. My mom says so, but I don't think the same way. Ohwell. Mother knows best.

At first, I was frickin' pissed 'cause my sister was the only one who was buying stuff. I can't find anything that suited me. So mom noticed that I was getting ultra-cranky and pissed already, so we went around and looked for stuff for me. Haha! Wee. I love the brown Giordano shirt that I bought. And I want to buy the brown chuckies that I saw! I lobe lobe them! :)

Anyways, I am SO loving yellowcard's new album. You should buy it. Haha! Ayan nanaman. I forgot about the stuff that I am gonna talk about. OHH RIGHT. Now I remember.

Since we will be boarding a lovely plane(not sure if economy. but I think it's business class. triple yess!), I forgot which, but I think it's Northwest, there'll be TVs for each passenger, and we will be given a choice of watching a movie or playing video games. Of course, I'll be choosing the watching-a-movie option. And so, I came up with a list of movies that I am wishing will be shown on the plane.

  • The Da Vinci Code
  • X-men3
  • Superman
  • Garfield2
  • The one with Amanda Bynes. I forgot the title.
  • Happy Feet

There you go.

I guess this post is a bit too long already. I'll be editing some stuff, so I'll be back if something juicy hits me? Okay? Intiende. Capiche.

Oh. right. Thanks to the people who tagged and commented! I lobe lobe you all. And I mean it with sincerosity. ;)

And by the way, for the last time, carina = darling. And that shall be my new "word"

Thursday, May 04, 2006
what the hell.

Should have made that post in english. Ohwell. You really wouldn't want to figure that out anyways, so.. Ohwell.

Let's make a happy post. ;) Cause I have a lot of reasons to be happy.

because I am going to the land of Billy Shakespeare!

So let's get this straight. You don't know who Billy is, but you know who Shakespeare is. Am I correct? And you don't know where the land of Billy Shakespeare is, don't you? Easy peasy.

I'M GOING TO LONDON!

All together now,

I'm going to London,
You're going to London,
We're going to London,
And you're gonna come with me.

HAHA.

Yes. I am so excited. I couldn't wait for next, next Saturday. It's been so long since I boarded a plane. And I'm gonna see my little cousins! Yes. I love them both. Matteo and Gaia! YEY! YEY! Matteo is succhhh a cutie. It's been soo long since I last saw them both! December o3, baby. And back then, I can remember, I turned down a shopping spree. How about that? Ohwell.

Bad part about the U.K. is that things are SUPER expensive there. One 1.5 liter of coke there is 1 pound. Think that's cheap? Hell no.

1 pound = 100 pesos.

What about that? Here, it's like, barely half of that 1oo pesos! Shucks. Haha. Might lose weight there! Woah. Haha. Too bad, can't go shopping 'cause stuff are super expensive! Hahah! Well, maybe my Uncles and Auntie and Lolo will give me money. They're rich naman eh. One of my uncle has this super cool laptop. I looked it up, and it is soo expensive. $_$. And he has this ultra-cool digicam. I love it. Wee. It's so great that I'm seeing them again. I am super excited!

What we will be doing there?

  • Riding the Eye of London. It's this GIGANTIC ferris wheel that gives you a beautiful view of London. I saw it on Queer Eye for the Straight Guy U.K. It is beautiful.
  • Seeing plays, like Beauty and the Beast, the Lion King. If lolo allows me, the Phantom of the Opera. YEY!
  • Going to Harrods?
  • Maybe see the Changing of Guards. Haha. So amazing, how those guards just stand there and have no reaction. Even if you strip off your clothes and dance. (Whoever would do that? So maybe that's why no one ever in the history of "guards" has moved. HAHA!)
  • Hunting for Daniel Radclife, that-Cedric-guy (I forgot his nammeee!), Prince William and Prince Harry (speaking of which, I saw in OK! magazine in Greenbelt that the royal highness-es can't marry their girlfriends. that is so bad. Hey, I'm available! Haha!)
  • Going to Notting Hill?
  • Maybe buying something.
  • Blogging, of course.
  • Taking good pictures! Too bad I won't be able to get my Handicam till mom goes to Japan. Haha.
  • People-watching.
Wee. I get to see my cousins! I am soo excited! Wee. Wee.

And we're gonna go shopping for "warm" clothes before we go there! YES! hahah! By the way, it's springtime there. How wonderful.

I failed to come back yesterday. I was...well, too lazy to make a post, and I really don't have a thing to talk about. ;) Hehehe

Anyhow, as I was about to tell you, I just got the latest issue of Candy Mag last Sunday and I LOVE IT SO MUCH. Really. I can't get enough of it. It was painful to lend it to Ate Monica(Just kidding. Of course not. Well, a bit, but not really pain as in pain. HAHA.) Because of their special "made-by-the-boys" issue, I am now so infatuated with the cover boy. I won't name him, you just have to find out. I know it'll be only for a while, and it'll pass, just like my infa with Matteo. I like him 'cause we like the same shows. And he's cute. I'm so low, I like a guy because we like the same shows. HAHA. Hey, that is sooo rare! Someone (particularly a guy, actually.haha.) who likes That 7o's show, The OC (not your typical guy show. but the lui-pio FRIENDS, The Simpsons? Wow. Haha. And he is soo good lookin. And he has a great sense of style. Oyes I love him. Hahah. Peace, man. ;) And yeah, he and my superman has the same personality. Only that my superman's younger and well, I can easily communicate with him. ;) And my superman's chubby. That is soo cute. Haha.

Who's the guy? gio limjoco. duh.

Haha. Don't worry, I'll estimate this one to last for a month or so.

And he's taken. (sorry girls. )

And btw, Ate Monica and him are going to the same school next year. And they're both incoming freshies. Oye. haha.

Besides Gio, Candy features Jackie Rice as cover girl, Jai Reyes and Yael Yuzon (with Gio) as this year's boy panel.

I love last year's boy panel. I learned tons from them.

I love this year's as much. Yey.

Ah basta. Gio. Haha.

I am going nuts. Nutsy nutsy butsy nutsy. ;)

And yes, I need Ate Muy Muy right now or I might go insane.

Yes. Very insane. @_@.

I am hysterical.

Man, nice pose you've got! waahahha. lol!

***

Thanks a lot to the people who commented and tagged! I lobe you all. Yes I do.

And if you're asking, no, I haven't finished the Da Vinci Code
And I'm recommending you people to buy the latest issue of candy.

You'll labbit.

If you're bummed out of your arses (or asses, americanish.), and you have nothing else to do, you might want to try the the Paper Clay Art or whatever you call it. Basta un na un. You can actually buy these stuff in ATC (or any mall, actually). In ATC, it's located near Jollibee/Greenwich and Shakey's (ata?). What about it? Well, there's this design on plywood, and then you color it using dyed paper mixed with some other ingredients that make it look and feel like clay. Then you put it in the plywood and like, paint this whole thing. Plus, it has a pretty outcome. An "embossed" effect. ;) You should try it, it's fun. The largest one costs P15o bucks. So you might want to buy more if you want (if you're really boorreed. )

***

Anywho, Im gonna go. It's the OC, and I can't bare how hysterical I am. HAHA.

And, i lobe you all. =)) =))
